I was skeptical about the weight, but it's genuinely light enough for daily walks even though the webbing feels like it could tow a car. The Kong Frog connector snaps in with a satisfying click and hasn't budged once.
My dog is a 90-pound puller and this leash hasn't budged an inch since day one, which is more than I can say for the last two I bought. The Kong Frog connector clicks in place with a reassuring snap, and the military-grade webbing feels tough without any of the bulky weight I was expecting.
I was skeptical about the 2,000-pound weight rating, but after my 95-pound lab pulled like a freight train during a squirrel chase, the Kong Frog connector held firm without a single creak. The lightweight nylon webbing makes it easy to carry on long hikes too.
